Atanas Skatov is the first vegan in the world to have climbed the Seven Continental Summits, as well as the first vegan in the world to have climbed Everest and the first vegan in the world to have climbed via both the South and the North ridge routes of Everest. Within 3 years Skatov climbed 6 summits over 8000 meters, and within 5 years completed 15 expeditions, without ever being an athlete or a mountaineer before. He is vegan since 01.2012.
